VentPro
The construction of VentPro is based on robust pocket plate technology by introducing special features to bring the water topping requirement to zero when operated as per recommended guidelines and needs only minimal preventive maintenance. The active materials are encapsulated between specially designed folded steel strips, which are perforated on both sides. This design increases the effective surface area and makes the battery performance more efficient. VentPro batteries use a special separator system that improves the Gas Recombination Efficiency (GRE) and significantly reduces the water loss in the batteries. The unique design of the separator system along with KOH electrolyte ensures that the GRE of VentPro batteries exceed the IEC requirements for partial recombination type Ni-Cd batteries. The VentPro batteries come in tough, shock resistant, fusion welded polypropylene containers and lids. A unique flame arresting, self-resealing low-pressure vent cap in the batteries releases any excess gases inside the cell. VentPro batteries are supplied in filled condition (either charged or discharged) with inter-cell connectors, cable connectors, associated hardware and accessories that are required for normal operation and maintenance. Powder coated Mild Steel racks to house the batteries can be provided as an option.
